*ETERNAL LIFE is not ETERNAL SECURITY.*

*Eternal security* is a theoretical presumption that whatever you do, you should still be secure beyond God’s Sovereign plucking power for ever.

*Eternal Life* is the life the Scriptures teach that we draw from Christ as branches when we fruitfully abide in Christ as our stem.
The Scripture is plain that no bracnh is beyond God’s plucking power.

The Apostles teach….
Rom 11:21-23
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also not spare you.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in his goodness: otherwise you also shall be cut off.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.

Christ teaches…
Joh 15:1-6
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine dresser.
2 Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he prunes it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now you are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can you, except you abide in me.
5 I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing.
6 If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
